MCS Kids

Miramar Christian School exists to help whānau bring out the best in their tamariki by providing a high quality education that functions with living Christian values and is designed to equip every ākonga to thrive and lead in a changing world.

From 27 February 2024, the School Board have closed off all enrolments until further notice while the process of enrolments for the Johnsonville site is completed.

Any new enrolments for 2024 will be managed through this process and successful applicants will be able to start kura in 2024 if required.

Enrolment packs will be available shortly.

This process is to ensure that all families applications are considered equally and treated fairly.

Welcome to Miramar Christian School’s Website

On behalf of the team here at Miramar Christian School, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all visitors to our website. We trust that you find it a useful source of information about our wonderful kura.

Miramar Christian School is one of the best kept secrets of Miramar, a taonga (treasure) that has much to offer. At Miramar Christian School we desire to see ākonga grow and thrive as they receive a quality education based on living Christian values. We are a state-integrated school for ākonga in Year 1-8 offering an excellent education, an environment of care and are an affordable alternative.

There is a lot happening at Miramar Christian School and we have a lot more planned for the future. Our kura is currently partnering with a group of Christian Trusts from within New Zealand as we develop a 50-year vision for the network of Christian Kura’s in the greater Wellington area. This includes being part of a new primary and secondary development in Wellington. We are expecting to move at the end of 2024. Click here to learn more about the new school location or register your interest.

I feel blessed to be working with our talented Christian staff, our fabulous ākonga, their wonderful whānau, our committed School Board and local churches.

Should you wish to know more or desire to come and see the kura in action, please contact the office on (04) 9398558. We would be delighted to meet you and show you around.
